If LEO/Mill credentials are being used as the indicator for which brand to use, when it comes to 5.56, all US special forces, the whole Australian army, and many other spec opp units are using Black Hills MK262MOD1, which is the 5.56 77gr OTM.

If you're looking at .308, the Sniper round is the M118LR, and while Federal is the company supplying it, the round was developed by Black Hills

If you want accuracy and consistency... Black Hills ammunition is where it's at
