Before I start, calm down with the paranoïa, the libs are coming for everything, they can google rifle's name by themselves and they can acces the RCMP list sooo, they don't need CGN for that.

for stan mags platform, now that they banned my AR project, what's left and worth the buck ? Is the Wk180 new version worth it? Did they fixed the issues, chinese T97 reviews aint great and it's red commie stuff, but cheap and Im not really into expensive bullpup, FAMAE are good looking but damn gotta throw 3k and mags and all.


Maybe a Ruger PC carbine, glocks mag fits so that's a plus, more SKS? A SVT ? Get a Type81 ? A Turkish M4 shotgun copy? What affordable semi I could get that's not a total piece of junk, looking for something reliable to increase the numbers before I go enjoy a boat ride.

Not trying to be harsh but it’s not difficult to understand. If you ask again in a few months perhaps we might have a better idea.

SKS for now? Money wise you wouldn’t be losing much.
 
Valmet Hunter or M78. Not cheap and not easily available. As ban resistant as any semi will ever be. If the only semi I can get is one of these i'll dish the 5-9k out.
 
Lots of NR semi rifles out there, google some major stores. I'd recommend something with detachable box magazines, and proven if possible. Get whatever it is while you can........they are coming for everything.

what a stupid suggestion, that isn't even available, and who the #### cares about ban resilience, they are coming for all of them
 
Do you know the history on the Valmet and previous bans? They are available on the exchange here and there and if you take the time to shop online. Google can do wonders. I can name one shop that has one now.
 
Lee Enfield.

Best Battle rifle ever.
Least likely to be prohibited.
Lots of variety, several calibre options.
Lots of accessories, literature etc......

Most Lee Enfields in canada were sperterized, were they not?

It was not that long ago...45 yrs, you could buy a Lee Enfield for $2, and a pallet of 303 Brit for $10. Surplus war stock.
