I would gladly donate to their legal fund.
We supported them by buying their products now we should support by backing them legally.
+1 here.

I gotta ask, since when is ass book or twitter the official means of communication of a government?
The government isn't giving us any updates, the only way we can know is if a supplier with Live FRT access (and theres not many out there) finds out for us. So far, 3 suppliers have stated it's been prohibited, only 1 has shown a picture. These guys also called the bans on many previous rifles, theres no reason why this one would be any different.
They banned it late at night, while most shops were closed, so we're going to have to wait until tomorrow morning to be 100% sure.

thats wht ATRS has to get a ####ing lawyer and do something.
If that’s the case..
Then in all likelihood I have the last legally shot modern sporter in Canada.
This has all been very disheartening. For all parties involved.
I would be doing the same, but the receiver set got put in the mail April 30th, and I still need a bcg, barrel, and handguard, as well as a Brownells order to hit the mailbox.Shooting mine tommorow.
Technically the M14 is a variant of the M1.If this standard is applied across the board, this standard could be applied to ban the SKS, M1 Garand, and others that "look like" the prohibited rifles. They may be going through the first part of the list which are the AR family.
As mentioned, this could be the RCMP going to bat for us. Either they interpret the law to the full extent (where variant was never defined), or the politicians fix their ####.
I hope all those guys that dumped theirs on the EE last week at crazy prices and made a grand or two are going to donate some of their profits to the cause.
Sadly, I lost mine in a tragic canoeing accident moments ago.
The Armalytics site now shows it as prohibited.
At this rate Garands and sks will be gonezo next week.
