Since about a month ago when NS RCMP used Twitter as their preferred way to communicate with the public that an ARMED ACTIVE SHOOTER WAS STILL AT LARGE! Un-facking-believable!

When we finally do get around to a large public demonstration, I will hold up signs denouncing the RCMP's incompetent handling of that whole situation and the subsequent scapegoating of our community. I suggest we surrender all manner of guns in one huge pile--air guns, toy guns, glue guns, nail guns, water guns etc....

I could take any firearm I own out to shoot here in Alberta, if I wanted, and not worry one bit. I've been shooting for 40 years here in Southern Alberta and have only had a run in with LE once on all that time and that was a event less encounter.

Problem is that if you ever get caught, say goodbye to your license and your entire gun collection. You will never touch another gun ever again. By all means hide your gun, don't turn it over, etc. but to take it out & actually use it, you're begging for trouble.

My entire collection is prohib now.
So why should I care about a useless PAL. Its not like you actually need one to buy a gun in Canada. The gouverment made me a criminal so ill act like one from now on.

Political detraction aside - yeah I hear you staryoskol. I think the unfortunate reality is that ATRS may not even be able to ship receivers to us since that too is now illegal. I’d sue the govt hard over this one; but will wait till ATRS sorts this out and will continue to support them how I can.

FRT is not law. Sending you product you paid for is completely legal!

You know that old saying "when guns are outlawed only outlaws will own guns"?
Well that's this now lol

What difference does it make? At this rate we'll be just like the UK in about a year and all the guns we own will be banned and dust collectors. What point is a PAL at that point anyways?
Might as well just cancel and join the criminals at that point.
They get to carry handguns all day, get caught, back out in 2 weeks and pick up another.

I know most of us dont actually know because we're not criminals but it is LAUGHABLY easy to get illegal handguns in this country. Always has been and ALWAYS will be.
 
I agree with the sentiment. What is the point of a PAL now? Especially if handguns go and they destroy ipsc. At that rate id rather not have a PAL. Destroy my ar15 and leave me be.
