Any decent deals or recommendations? Trying to get the rest of the parts I'm missing for my first build sooner rather than later. I was planning on researching/ordering/building slowly but not sure that's a smart option now.

I know it is a stupid question.

Are you, like, from alternate Canada where AR-15 is not banned?

Or there is a straight pull action which uses AR15 BCG?

If he does have a previously restricted or NR receiver set and he wants to complete a build, why not? It’s his property - at least for two more years...

I bought an extra BCG, couple extra bolts and gas rings, extractors, etc. I even have a couple complete LPK's plus "lost parts kits". And barrels and barrel extensions. Not for sale at any price... :)

Unfortunately I never found the time to complete my first build, now have roughly 3/4 the parts and its next to impossible to find any parts domestically. Hopefully will be able to acquire the rest somewhere

Brownells will have everything that you need. Just expect to wait a while as the shipping takes forever.

And if you are building a previously NR rifle, you may want to avoid sending parts under the noses of the CBSA. When they see suspicious items that are nonetheless legal to import they do file intel reports that are forwarded to local law enforcement and RCMP. For example, a resin casting kit for AR15 receivers would definitely pique their interest. Parts might, as well.

Cbsa inspect 2% of mail. The last 10 times I ordered stuff from Brownells is just said parts. No mention of what firearm it was for. CBSA can send all the info they want the RCMP already know I have a PAL and local cops wont care.

Since there is no longer a requirement to register or report modifications on AR15s it seems to me now is the perfect time to do all the modifications you ever wanted.
