Too bad the standard would be restricted. The heavy looks good.
I have been wanting browning to make there BAR with a 18.6” barrel as there lineup looks great but all 18” barrels in the models I want

To my knowledge, and what I’ve gleaned from FN forums, they do not make a 5/5 mag. They make a 5/10 mag that is blocked at the factory and sell it as a 5.

The etching on the FN mag even says 5 round. It’s not pinned but crimped - it looks good.

The 5/10 mag is a high quality mag, those quality all steel mag a surely a + for accuracy.

If you can find them 88$ + and id buy 2 if i could find anyware to buy them. I just bought my FNAR and first trip to the range was great. Only beef is only 1 mag and my cheep chinese can of 308 wont fire. They get a dimple but no bang. Other Surplus from west worked great. even the cheapy ammo my Henry Long Ranger wont shoot. I REALLY want a few spare mags.

Do you shoot with the cheek that high? or just a demo? I put a UTG long eye relief scope 2-7x44 and im having to stop shasing forward like i normally do for eye relief. No boxers cut or black eyes and the cheek is good. Only my first time shooting it today and lovemaking it. FYI i read it once and now i proved it. Cheep China 308 in a Can (like opening a can of spam) wont fire with this riffle. Cheep Lake city works but the Chinese surplus (311) only dimples the primer and no kboom. Ill try that on my Henry Long ranger that i purchesed this to replace. Id sell it but i spent to much getting the Special Nature addition imported using I Run Gunz. Ill make a locking Case to hang it on my wall. Sure hope i can get a few more mags for the FNAR. Im half tempted to try 3D printing one.
