I'm considering an FNAR Competition but I am having trouble finding many reviews on it. One review said it was not accurate and had a terrible trigger... Others are impressed by the accuracy and trigger... I don't mind the blue color but I would like an accurate rifle. Does anyone have one? Do you love it? Hate it?

Had a non competition fnar. I could never find a load it liked. Cleaning it was a bit of a nightmare as well. The guy I sold it to seemed to like it though... I think there’s better NR semi 308 available these days.

Carmel used to post lots about his FNAR and it was always reliable and shot AWESOME. If my memory was correct it was sub MOA even with Hirtenberger Austrian surplus... Always an intriguing gun, and always wanted one based on his posts
If I remember correctly he actually had 2 at one time. Maybe he still does and has one to sell.

I got one in November. Absolutely love it. She's heavy and no sling swivels but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. She's a range gun for sure. To pretty to take out in the woods. Mine is sub MOA with federal gold match 168 grain. I did have a slight issue when preforming her first complete strip down but I quickly recieved the part I needed in 5 days. All in all, definitely a great rifle.

I never wanted one before but it has a new level appeal now, doesn’t it?

Not a fan of the blue though.

My favorite rifle, hands down. I'm gonna have a go at installing a sling swivel on the foreend. We'll see how it goes.

Caramel has many posts, pictures and info on this rifle.

This absolutely ridiculous color scheme ....gray laminate would have been better choice, also for a bench rest rifle it looks goofy as hell with a 20rd magazine sticking out.

The FNAR is a MOA Rifle....never seen anything shoot sub-moa out of it and I tried many many bullet powder combinations.
Best groups would be right @ 1".

I still like the rifle but it is not a precision rifle.
