Iirc they are Caspian frame and slide.

So its already a good base gun to start with. And then everything else is hand fitted using either a mix of brand name US parts

Don't have one of their 1911s, though I plan on getting one down the line (was eyeing the ones on the EE as well). I do have a number of other Dlask products and they're quality. I imagine their 1911s would be of the same caliber.

If Joe was building these down in the US, he could probably charge almost double.
The amount of hand fitting, and skill getting the trigger to break like glass makes them worth the money. It's a small shop, and Joe works on every one of these.
Price out the competition apples to apples.

Mine has the best trigger I've ever felt.

I have a Dlask Commander sized 9mm. Built very tight. VERY light trigger. Two piece guide rod takes a little getting used to.
I think you may be able to get some custom engraving now as well but I am not 100% sure.

I managed to score a Dlask Commander Slide in .45ACP recently. Has anyone been able to confirm the Caspian lineage of these?

Fit & finish is really good, no machine chatter marks or the like anywhere on the Slide, it does utilise a 9mm firing pin, but not a big deal.

Just wish Dlask would offer Frames & Slides again on their site in the near future, I'd be in for a few more.

I would like to get some frames. But, maybe they will have to come from America.
Who has 45 slide parts? I have the colt factory slides that I have saved for years
