Jumped in on the K31 hype for cheap thanks to wholesale sports.

The only retailer I have seen with them lately is greatnorthgunco. Tradex has some 1889s and psmilitaria has a couple 1911 rifles and carbines.

Thanks but it was rhetorical question to prove a point as I already knew the answer and likely so does everybody else.

1889s are fun to shoot as you barely feel the recoil with a GP-90 pressure cartridge. Just have to reload for it. The advantage the 1889 has over the other earlier GP-90 chambered rifles and carbines ('common' ones being the K93 and the KG97) is that the chambers seem to be a bit looser and on most of them you don't really have to cut down the brass that 1/2mm for it to function properly.

US$79.95 in the Lakenheath R&GC......

Oh, wait, that was back in '89..................................

I went back a week later and collected the K11, both had slings and muzzle covers, but THIS one came with 200 rounds of GP11, too. Because of the confidentiality of commission sales thing I could never find out where they had come from. :(

K31 are getting harder to buy even in Switzerland. Our last lot of 200 Swiss rifles that we brought in January only had 7 K31s.
