Graco Corp length of pull extension

To find out if extending the LOP on my Perazzi would help I just cut two pieces of Pex tubing 3/4" long and put them between the recoil pad and the stock with longer screws. I used pex because it was the first thing I laid my hands on. Also, I could easily cut different lengths to try. I shot a few thousands rounds with the pex spacers and, after everyone was suitably scandalized by my casual disregard for Perazzi etiqutte I built this with spacers I got from Amazon and some aluminum plate. Total cost was less than 20.00. Increase in LOP was 1", the Perazzi gods calmed down and my score improved. That being said, Graco is an excellent product and I would probably buy one if I wasn't so cheap.

Yeah I’m shooting a beretta s58 trap which has a shorter length of pull than most modern o/u’s, and being 6’5 I have really long arms. A new stock is out of the question so I’m hoping this product does the trick

Well - The Graco product allows you to adjust all stock parameters, not just LOP. If you want to adjust LOP only, then one can purchase spacers of various thicknesses, or make one out of wood, at much less expense.

Great quality and fast service. I use it on my Parazzi. Money well spent. Think the owners name is Tracey if you have any questions

We are in the same boat. I'm 6"4 and shoot a Beretta O/U and a Browning. Both have Graco products installed and I can adjust them to fit and suit my frame.

I’ve been looking to extend the length of pull of my o/u for a more comfortable fit for trap shooting. Came across this product and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this company or their products. If you know of any other good ideas please let me know

Thanks

How much are you wanting to extend your length of pull?

Kick eez has spacers to extend your length of pull. I think they come in 3 sizes 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2”. I think they can be stacked.

Would be cheaper than a new butt pad

I thought of that route but I need around 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch added so a solid spacer that thick would look weird in my opinion. I opted for the graco extension along with a spacer to get as much LOP as I can

I installed one on my Citori XT Trap to add over an inch LOP, and am very happy with it. It works great, and allows for adjustments of LOP, up and down, and butt angle for fine tuning. Also great for changing seasons and heavy coats.

For installation, I used the Browning factory butt pad, and the screw holes lined up perfectly on that plate. For the wood side, the holes in the plate don't line up with the Browning holes. I didn't have a problem drilling new holes without filling the old. Some people plug the old holes before drilling new. (I actually called Graco to find out why the holes are different spacing, as it doesn`t make sense. They couldn`t really give me an answer, and wouldn`t ship me one with no holes drilled. :( )

You also need to bore a hole in the butt to allow the threaded tube to fit. I made a wood jig, pre-drilled with a hole-saw of the proper size, and attached it to the butt using the factory drilled butt pad holes, to act as a guide to use the hole-saw on the stock.

I can try to get some pictures if needed.

It takes some time to cut the aluminum plate down to size, and finish, but well worth it in my opinion. I have a second one waiting to go on another shotgun, when I figure out what I'm buying.

It finally showed up today, the machining and quality are above what I expected. I planned to do the install myself but a fellow range member offered to do it as he already has the jigs for drilling the large center hole in the stock and has done it dozens of times. I’ll update with some pics soon it should be ready to go by Saturday. Glad I ordered it!

Finally installed! Had a good friend do the fitting and polish work on it for me and got it tuned in today. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome, feels great to shoot a gun that fits how it should. I would definitely recommend the graco products and I’m thinking about doing an adjustable comb next
