I inherited a double barrel double trigger shotgun and I don’t know anything about it but I would like to learn. It has an ‘E’ within a diamond on either side of the gun. The words “GOVERNMENT ISSUED FOR SMOKELESS POWDER” appear at the base of the barrel between the barrels. Unfortunately, these are the only markings I can find. The barrels are about 29 inches in length and the gun is about 46 inches in total. Any information about the derivation, manufacturer, age, and value would be greatly appreciated!
