Anybody done a tac 14 raptor grip with a sling point? I’ve seen shockwave technologies QD Raptor grip which is what I would prefer, but I would love some other suggestions of what people have done. Any shockwave technologies dealers in Canada so I don’t have to wait 2.5 months for this to show?

I figured that would work too, but I do love th QD stuff on my tavor. I may need to bite the bullet and order one from the states.

I would think a sling plate between the receiver and raptor grip and a sling mount off the mag tub nut would work well as a two point set up if you had a quick adjust sling like a Vickers or Magpul sling, a Magpul with the QD adaptor would quickly switch it to a quasi single point sling as well.

I used this single point setup for a while .... but to be honest I wasn't happy .... I always felt as if I am shooting myself in the foot .... so with one hand I had to constantly direct the muzzle in a safe direction ...

Where did you get the wooden furniture?

yea the more I look at pictures of setups the more I want to do a swivel stud at the end of the grip, or the QD on the shockwave grip.

Single point sling sounds like a recipe for a stubbed toe.

That is the problem with a single point sling, you always have to be in control of the muzzle with your support hand.

If you have a two point and a sling with a slider for quick adjustment attached to a sling plate at the receiver end and attached at the mag tube nut you can sling it across your front with the muzzle down at an angle and quickly slack off the sling if you want to shoot the gun.

Been watching demonstrated concepts llc on yt. Did you make this sling yourself? Or did you modify an existing one? More details please :)

Yes, made it myself from 1 inch webbing ... I bought a couple of 1" straps with buckles from Amazon ... and a set of sling swivel studs ... and then made this sling myself ....
