I picked up a CZ 527 Varmint 223 a few days ago....does anyone know what the action screws are to be torqued to....they seemed very light when taking the stock off to adjust the trigger.

Side note: Wow, the trigger is awesome once adjusted...no over travel and no creep, 3 LB break and 1.5 Lbs on set...:)

30-35 front screw, 20-25 year screw. That is in INCH pounds. "Hand tight" is roughly 50 foot pounds. So ya, theyre pretty light.

?

How is hand tight at 50 foot pounds considered pretty light...?

Confusing post...

You don't need to torque them... if you felt they were too loose, make them tighter... good and tight will work just fine.

Thanks guntech, when I said loose, I mean loose like 5-10 in/lbs loose...anyways, I did torque them to 35 front and 25 rear.

Good and tight?,... isn't there a joke about about a German maiden with that as the punch line somewhere...:)
