Heyo.

I applied for access to the equipment exchange and was denied for using a VPN. I never saw it stated that it was not allowed in the rules (missed it I guess), but I understand why it doesn't bother me that I'm not able to use it. I re-applied for access, and intend to just turn off the VPN when accessing this site. However, I am curious if I would automatically be kicked out or something if I do login with it on? I have it set to auto-connect and just passively use it for netflix and such, and I could forget about it. Also if there are some rules detailing the usage of such programs somewhere, please let me know. Tried searching for such, might just be terrible at using forum searches.

Thanks

i've got the same answer.no EE access with a VPN in use. i don't care,i was asking an access only to see what was for sale, with no intention of buying or selling.won't turn my VPN off for it,it defeat the purpose of a VPN....and as the asking price for used guns is very close to the asking price for new guns, I have a lot of pleasure browsing trough the online shops of the official sponsors of the site.

I've been going through the sponsors as well, it's a great hub for gun shops in Canada. Still would like to see whats on the EE though, feel like the more obscure or just uncommon guns have a decent chance of popping up there.

I find it extremely weird that a Gun forum doesn't want you to use VPNs its like they want the RCMP to be able to track you...lol.. Ha well this place will be dead once all the gun laws get passed.

I HAD EE L1 until I applied for L2 then I lost L1 and had my application rejected. I've never used a VPN but I use different internet providers depending which work site I'm at or if I'm at home or if I use mobile data. So it seems tough to get EE access if you use more than the ISP you put down on your application. Trying for the 2nd time to get EE L1 back...

I had the same issue with the VPN, for work since they didn't like this website. Got denied EE, turned the VPN off and then go EE access. Now I'm with a different company so I don't need a VPN but I am afraid to apply for L2 access cause I don't wanna lose L1!! haha
