K98 Sniper listed on EE

The dumbest thing I've seen lately is the fake leather but stock "device" cheek riser on EE. Who comes up with ###x like that?
 
I haven't seen the cheek piece on the EE but don't forget that the Americans did make a leather lace on cheek piece for their sniper rifles during the 1950's/1960's

If you are someone who shoots their milsurp...and any have glass...the cheekpiece is great. I have a faux sniper with a Kahles and SSR, it's a chin weld...not a cheek weld. Been tempted to make one myself.

You guys need to have seen the cheek piece. I don't think riversrest is saying a cheek piece is a stupid idea, he's just saying that particular one from the EE was a bit much.

It's gone now but it was glossy black leather, with bright white stitching and a huge white Nazi eagle taking up one side of the piece.

Fair enough. I hadn't seen that. I do know one feels like a turkey with their head stuck up trying to get a good sight pic through the glass. At least the British figured that out and slapped some wood on to help get a good weld.
