Problem With An CIL 674 TD Barrel

I am fixing up my brothers guns as they were stored in a moist environment and the finish on the CIL barrel had a coating of rust which destroyed the bluing.
I believe the CIL 674 TD is a Mossberg 500 made for CIL?
Any recommendations for a replacement finish on the barrel?
Does the 674 come apart like the 500 for cleaning and maintenance?

I think you will find the 674 is actually a Stevens/Savage
OOPS! Just checked my list and it does look like it is a Mossberg!
