That's a beauty of a pushfeed model 70. Does it have the red W on the grip cap? I'm guessing 1965-66. Some of the most accurate model 70's I have shot were early pushfeeds. Looks like someone before you really looked after it.

I would have removed the iron sights as well. But you may want to upgrade the scope too. Nice find!

Thanks!
Its a 1968 and has the anti bind feature. Im excited to fire it. It seems to be in good shape and i havent found any issues at all. I got it fron potashminer on here, hes a good guy. He went well above and beond with supplying me pics and info during the sale.

No red "W" but it has a black cap with a design that looks like a styled "S"

The scope is a fixed 4 made in japan. If i find any issues with it i may go with a fixed 2.5 or 4x leupold. I like fixed scopes a lot. i hope to use the lowest rings i can and still have it eject. On it are cheap windage adjustable ones

When I first got it.

Sighting it in off the bench. I was surprised that the recoil wasn't bad!

Had a 375 Ruger and a Ruger #1 in 375 H&H AI. Still got the CZ 375 H&H. Now it’s in a B&C stock with a 20” barrel. Recoil isn’t bad. Components are the cost item for reloading. I want a 458, but 22 is getting the wife hooked so that gets the nod right now.

Had a Stainless Weatherby Vanguard S1 rebarreled to 375 Ruger, sits in a Weatherby Laminate stock, sort of a twin to my S1 in 9.3x62.

My Zastava M70 in .375 H&H

Leupold vx3i 1.5-5x20 mounted with Leupold Low Quick Detach Rings and Bases, and a Custom Leather Canada 1907 style sling. I love this rifle. It's worked great. Picked up a spare firing pin and extractor from Tradex. A lot of gun for the money.

I'm in. I also have Win. M70 push feed. Got my first Bison with it. Sold it, thinking i needed a controlled round feed. Bought a CZ550 375 H&H , love that gun, BUT yearned for the Winny. Took 2 years to buy it back. Also have Ruger #1 375 H&H Tropical, and AHEM ( in tiny letters and words) 375rugeralaskan. Note: it is the one i grab to do the work when the weather is plain ugly.
