Anyone try a Sig Sauer BRAVO prismatic optic on a carbine?

Would love to hear ANY user feedback on SIG Sauer's BRAVO line of prismatic optics ... either the BRAVO 3 or the 4 or 5 models. I am looking for a low-power solution for a carbine.

One specific question is what battery life you would expect to get? While other SIG optics such as the Romeo 5 receive many favourable comments on their battery life, the few reviews I have read on the Bravo optics seem to gloss over battery consumption.

Also, why is the BRAVO 4 so much more expensive than a BRAVO 3 or 5, and why so radically different in appearance?

Thanks in advance for your insights.

Can't speak for everyone here but I doubt many are spending coin on rifles we can't use anymore, let alone the ones we all know are next on the RCMP's hit list

"OPTICS"
, Fisherguy55 ... "prismatic optics" ... "optics" are the things that you can (legally ... at the moment, anyway) put on top of several legally available rifles ... in order to see, accurately!! You, apparently, may be better to start with an "optometrist". Nevertheless, I feel your pain regarding the "hit list".

I guess I could have been a little more clear with my statement. Myself and many others I know are not spending money on optics designed for AR15s and those still legal like them.

I'm putting a prism scope on a 45-70 dark...interested in replies here too.

Was looking at a primary arms with 300 blackout reticle as ballistics are similar.

Where do you see these available in Canada? I wanted the 4x, I couldn't find any of the models in country. I also noticed that there seem to be 2 different designs (generations?) : one variety looks like a kahles k4i and the other has a swept-back futuristic look
