I finally finished up the C8A3 “clone” with the set of unicorn factory Desert Tan Diemaco furniture and thought I was finally done with the exhausting search for Colt Canada / Diemaco parts, but then I found this set of green Diemaco furniture.... and so the search continues...
The tan C8 is almost 100% correct. I obviously couldn’t get the lower or barrel being in the states, and I decided against the RBUIS since the DD is close enough, but I’m happy with where it’s at now. Once BCM gets more C8 uppers in, I may get one and swap barrels out, but it’s not a priority. Edit: the endplate isn’t correct either, but I really like the Diemaco triangle style end plate and had spent a lot of time finding one before finding out it wasn’t correct. I do eventually want to find a correct sling adapter endplate for at least one of them though.
The green C8 has a ways to go. I’m not going to be as worried about it being correct, but I do want to at least find a few more parts for it, like the triad rail, sling, and may get the Norgon ambi mag release instead of trying to find another Colt Canada mag release release.

I got in touch with a member on arfcom when looking for some of the parts for the tan build, and later bought the green furniture set off of him. Really cool guy.
