Model C-71 Update: On Sale Now

Hey, just wondering if this project is still going or if it is officially dead?

Anything but! We delayed working on the C-71 to get our magazine adapters and the Light Practical Carbine to market. With the Light Practical Carbine manufacturing process figured out we are now doing the CAM work to do a small run of C-71's. I want to assure everyone that this will not impact the production schedule of the Light Practical Carbine.

Here's some renders of the C-71 X, which is the same as the C-71 with an extended rail. We should have pricing soon. Out of the box it will take 10/22 mags, and have an optional TUF-22 magazine conversion. Later we are going to introduce an integrated 597 magazine well.

Just an update for everyone... We're finishing up the first run of receivers. Once the receivers are finished we'll send them off to anodizing.

Also, we have finished our 10/22 Chassis redesign. Hopefully we can show off the prototype soon!

we will not be doing pre-orders on it or for any guns we make, just because pre-orders never ever work out well. But, we might look at doing a sticker sale where you buy a couple dollar sticker which gets you a spot in line. This would help of gauge our first production run volume.

We are still finalizing the cnc program to make these, as well as sorting out finishing. We got the frt several months quicker than expected, so we're a bit behind the ball now.

yeeeeeet!!

This is what I’ve been waiting to hear. I want to buy/build an all Canadian 10/22 so this goes a long way. Thanks guys

More details on the chassis please! Did you eliminate the trigger guard to pistol grip gap and any change on beavertail compatibility?

Details will be posted soon. Beaver tail grips are not supported, but there is more clearance around your hand so it will be more comfortable. There is still a gap behind the trigger, however we will be offering a special grip for the gun that deletes the gap. It's based on our carbon ar grip. We also have the option for a different grip mount to cover the gap, but it add some cost so it will likely be an option. The biggest changes are the removable and lengthened handguard (so we can offer an extended version) and we lengthened the stock mounting area to give a longer length of pull some people.
