Looking for a couple pieces of 8mm mauser brass, nothing special as it's is going to be glued down onto a diorama.

Nothing at the local range and don't know anyone with a rifle in that caliber personally :p
 
I have a options for you. I could part with 3 or 4 if you wanted. I have some Romanian steel cases, grey in color, that you could have for just shipping as I can’t reload them anyway. I also have some brass russian stuff that is berdan primes and also not worth reloading you could have for just shipping, but it does have 8x57 IS screen printed on the case. I also have standard modern stuff I think federal and PPU, those I could give you for 50 cents per case plus actually shipping. I am fairly sure they will fit in a letter so could likely be sent for a few bucks
 
I can send you some too, I have some really nice ex-Portuguese military brass that is like a vibrant gold. DM me your address if you;d like a couple, no sweat off my back friend. I have 2 50 cal ammo cans full.
 
Thanks for the offer but after talking to another member, they cant be mailed in an envelope and once you put 4 pieces of brass into a box you're looking at a minimum $15. That is some pricey brass. I'll have to try and source some local.
