Ultra fine wire wheels

I'd like to get an ultra fine wire wheel (carding wheel I guess?) to aid in rust/bluing preservation.

However I'm not sure if you can actually order directly from them? Nor can I find a seller of these in Canada. Brownells sells them but I'd rather find somewhere in Canada.


Does anyone know of an equivalent wheel that I could buy?

Fastenal has them but they are a ridiculous price over $150, Brownels is probably your best bet , you could phone Grobet to see if they ship here since its not a restricted item.

Fastenal's pricing is very account dependent, so I can try pricing it through my employer's account and see.

Not Grobet, but have an 0.003" wire and are fairly cheap (buy several)

KBC Tools sells one with an 0.006" wire.

Amazon.ca you can get 0.003" but noly in brass (don't use brass, stainless if you can get it.)

From the looks of the searches in USA shops - mostly are specialty abrasives places. If you must have the grobet, probably any can order them in.

PS - I don't use a wheel for carding. too messy and not needed IMO
