guess the lack of response is that there is nothing new.
Well, if the RCMP would get off its ass and issue the long-awaited FRT for the Kriss Vector, we'd have that to look forward to...
Unfortunately, it looks like we have more some waiting time to do before they either
1) acknowledge it's a simple blowback .22LR, not unlike every other one out there with simple aesthetic differences, or
2) add it to the OIC prohibited list for some ####ing arbitrary reasons.
I'm just sitting here waiting on my pre-order, being salty. Don't mind me.

Very cool! Haven't seen these before, and it looks like they make a 9mm version... Anyone know if either version has made it to Lab for an FRT yet? (curious as to whether it already has an FRT, and if not, do we know if a dealer has submitted a sample for classification?)
Freedom Ventures is an authorized distributor for Taurus. I contacted them a while ago. They did not seem interested in bringing in the TX22 and told me its prohibited. I replied that there is a Restricted FRT entry for it and they never replied after that. I really wanted one too.
I'm fairly certain IRG was advertizing these recently?
I just looked up the thread, apparently they're expecting them in September (although with covid and an upcoming election who knows really). They have some on their American website but they're not Canada compliant.
I tried getting one from IRG's too. They said they would put me on 'the list' to be contacted when their last batch arrived. They never contacted me when they arrived then sold them all. I guess I'm just not supposed to have one...lol.

yeah, the TX22 has one or two models that meet our restricted regs. most of their models are prohib due to the 3.6" (I think) barrel they have.
that one fellow gave it kudos, but once in the field, the truth surfaced and there are / were lots of issues. sorta like the new G44.
