Ordering brass

Just wondering if brass can be ordered from the US, or is it classified the same as ammo and bullets?

I have ordered brass several times. As long as it did not go over $100.00 in value then they took my credit card info & a week later I had it.

Some people here have said it should not be done. There seems to be some confusion in this area. I feel that ****** are a big enough company to know & follow the rules.
My opinion only though.

Sinclair Int'l will process (leagally) orders of brass or bullets, or combinations that do not exceed 900 pieces, without any extra charge.

I looked for brass on ebay a few weeks ago. They had nothing at all!

eBay banned the sale of brass, bullets and a few other firearm items a little while ago.

It really depends where you try to order it from, some will and others wont'
Ask first, then decide.

All reloading components require a U.S. Export permit to be legally shipped out of the U.S. This includes brass, primers, bullets, and powder.

To those who received brass from the U.S. without the benefit of a U.S. Export permit, you have admitted to violating U.S. export regulations and CGN policy regarding Import/Exports.

Canadian Customs is not the problem, it is the U.S. Authorities where the legality lies.

If you do such things without the proper paperwork do not post about your dealings here.If you do you may face a suspension of your membership or permanent ban.

Not all U.S. Companies are up on the export regulations, and some choose to ignore them.

Midway USA and another company recieved very large fines for violating U.S. Export regulations and no longer ship to Canada.

CGN is also monitored by Canadian & U.S. Government authorities.
