How do you clean a blued revolver?!?

King Stainless is in need of some advice on how to clean a blued revolver, say, something better than taking Lead Away wipes to a helpless Colt Cobra revolver. Yeah, I did that, and yeah, some parts of that gun are REALLY shiny now, and everyone can just stop laughing, alright?!?

Color me Slow, but is there a problem with Lead away wipes ? For intenal use only, maybe ?

The same way you clean a SS revolver. Regular cleaning solvent does nothing to bluing.

Lead away wipes are for stainless and plated surfaces only. They contain chemicals that eat through bluing.
