Ruger 10/22 Single Shot Adapter

So you can use a 10/22 to train inexperienced shooters. You'd be amazed how many we sell when we have them.

True, but this ensures that there can be only one round in the mag and some competitions may require it.

This is probably a stupid question...

Does this BX-1-1 need to be removed from the rifle in order to be charged (like a BX-1), or can it be charged while it is still locked in the rifle, from the top (like an integral magazine)?

If it is the former, I don't see the point, but, if it is the latter, I want one.

I believe the Ruger brand one has feed lips identical to the 10 shot rotary magazine so the rounds need to slid into the magazine lips as normal and not pressed down into the top like using a clip to load a magazine (let a few heads explode on that proper terminology).

Not to hijack, but there are people 3D printing "solid block" magazine replacements that act (like a tray on a single shot bolt action) that you can Google for...
