Hey guys anyone know where to find a cheap pistol grip stock and hand guard for the M14? Preferably black synthetic. All I found was in the $700 range. I'm thinking like $100 Thanks guys.

DaveGP on this board used to make them. Contact him. I think you should be able to find some pics if you search.

I'll let ya have this one for 800 lol

Thanks guys I think

 I was more wondering if there is a company out there that makes a drop in model? I see them for under $100 for sks and mini 14. Is there some major difference in the stock or maybe could one of those be made to work. I want to use my m305 for hunting and occasional target shooting. I just find the pistol grip stock more comfortable to shoot. Sorry if this thread is stupid, but I just don't really want a mcmillian with adjustable cheek pad or a jae100 or the like. Just a plain old pistol grip rifle stock. Maybe a Butler Creek that is close and can be modified or something. Any help would be appriciated.

Sorry Mr. Bond, but your out of luck. No cheap stocks for the M14. DaveGP's were about the cheapest (but good) you would have found - but I fear production has ceased. :(
Maybe Dave can verify that for you.

I am working on the mold for a drop in fiberglass pistol grip m14s stock.... has been an arduous task... the proto type is pretty sweet though. Will be a few months before i have any i could part with.... and will have to buck up for a subscription here before i'll post pics or any further info..... but they are coming.... they won't be cheap... but they will be reasonable :D

Here is a classic DaveGP stock done up as an E2 style, with the straight line stock the felt recoil drops down to about the same as a .223, great ergonomics and shoots excellently! If someone would make this style on a large scale basis I think it would sell very well.
