Here are a couple pics of the enfield that I just got back from the gunsmith,still waiting for the other one, it is the nicer one of the two with green gunkote and camo stock!
This one had machineing done to accomodate the parker hale mounts, bluing touched up and a recoil pad added.First time out I was getting about 1 1/2" groups after sighting it in.I think it will still do better.

my dad carried it on our moose hunt but didnt get to shoot. I would have been packing the camo one if I had it back yet.. I ended up using my 270win on my moose.

God I don't know why you keep messing with those relic's! Month after month you post new pic's You should just give up on them and send them my way!

That's a nice rifle. Congrats. And that comb looks about the right height for that scope. Don't mind the snobs, anyone else would be lucky to hunt with that.

worth? what is worth? were talking a few hundred measly bucks, thats it!If something has value to the owner then that is all that counts. Critics kiss my a$$.
The budget for the two (wait till you see the other one!) was about the same as buying another new Remington sps or similar. I already have nice remi's and winchesters , what I wanted was two of the nicest enfield sporters that I have ever seen so that is what I did.

SO? ........ I've owned lots of guns worth less than the scope sitting on it.

Makes alot more sense than a $69 Tasco on $1000 rifle.
