Henry Lever

Yes, I use the factory irons only. The hooded front sight is very handy for quick target acquisition.....the rest is up to you.

Does anyone know if the Octagon Frontier model (H001T) is available in Canada at all? Cabelas shows it on their website, but it says unavailable. Haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

Wolverine has some golden boy special editions. Not cheap. Accuracyplus has a used golden boy octagonal barrel for sale.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but still appreciate the effort. =P
Tillsonburg gun shop has a listing for the model I'm after, so I sent a message to see if they can special order. I'll update with info in case anyone else is interested in the future.

So much fun! Heres a lil pic from my last outing.

My next gun purchase will be a H001 or a H001L, still haven’t decided big or std loop

I already know the upgrades will be :

Hi-viz front sight assembly
Skinner receiver peep sight
Skinner dovetail filler
Shim kit for the action

Ben...get the large loop compact! What you give up in ammo capacity you gain in a light handy plinker.
Also, test out the hooded front sight before you ditch it. I find it fast to frame quick targets.
It may not be as accurate as my S&L (your ex:)) but......

Hey johNTO,

Very tempted by the large loop and the full size version for the longer sight radius.

I'm glad yous till in love with the lovely S&L ;)
