I was firing Remington 9 mm UMC today in a Revolver and a Semi-Automatic.
An Alfa Proj. and a Glock 17 Gen 4 respectively.
The impact on the primers was very noticeably different.
The Glock impacts were normal looking, nothing remarkable.
The Revolver impacts were much deeper, not punching through, and no bulging out back, but very much a deeper impact.
The Primers were, apart from the depth of the impact mark, flat : so no over pressure from the cartridge as far as I can tell.
Any ideas ?
