I was planning on posting a pic... I got two on Friday, one on ethe wing, one on the ground. The dog flushed 8 all together (ran right by the one on the ground) Anyway to make a long story short, I ran in to a gun shop for a brief chat and when i came back to the vehicle, I had only 1 bird plus a wing and a foot!

I guess the dog likes grouse too!

One more from tonight....I didn't wing this one....got him as he was doing mach 5 thru the willows on foot. Took me two, but I got him :D

Me too! Well I was only out for an hour and a half, and saw three right on the road scouting a new area, so it looks promising. Will go back when I have more daylight to burn, and bring a gun that's quicker to deploy (was trying to assemble and load my takedown rifle on the first bird, actually got it together and the bird bolted when I cracked the door).

Welimited out yesterday afternoon in no time at all!
The dog was putting them up on the way BACK to the truck!!:)
I shoot a 28 guage, great little rig - I was using 3/4OZ. No.9 AA skeet loads - 2 drams .
Most of my shots were like high 4.s and 5's, but I had one that would have been a ringer for a high hopuse 7 !
Took his head right off!
