Hey Guys,

Just bought a GSG 16 a couple months ago and have been having lots of fun putting loads of rounds through it but ran into a snag. I stripped the bolt that holds the breech block in place.... The Allen key one.

I picked it up at Cabelas and they basically said they don't deal with ordering replacement parts....Anyone dealt with GSG or know who I can talk with to order a new one?
This thing is fun but my god is it a PITA to field strip/ break down.....

While I'm on the topic, I put a Vortex Crossfire 2 red dot on it and have been getting some pretty bizarre results....What are you guys finding the accuracy is like on these? I know there not tack driver but..

Thank you!

Contact Blue Line Solutions (http://www.blsolutions.ca) since they handle all warranty repairs for GSG. A lot of GSG guns have lifetime warranties which most people don't know. From their web site: All Alfa Proj, GSG, Iver Johnson, Swiss Arms firearms sold by Blue Line hold limited lifetime warranty. All accessories are warranted for three months from the day of purchase. A receipt will be required to show proof of purchase. They may also carry some spare parts. They repaired a GSG 1911 for me when the slide lock was worn and intermittent.

9mmGunGuy is correct. Contact Blue Line Solutions. I had a small issue with the GSG16 and they looked after me in a timely manner.

What do you consider timely? I submitted a service ticket May 7th, I just got a email asking for more info, in why I submitted one. I thought I was being ignored.

Might just be easier to match up a nut and bolt.

+1 for this. The thread should be standard (metric) and would be a helluva lot quicker doing a home depot run than whatever warranty juggling has to happen.

Edit: still do the warranty thing, but before you send the part in, get a replacement one (or two) from your hardware store while you wait.

I’m sure people have had good experiences with blue line but for all the promotions and stuff they put on about buying rifles they bring in covered in warranty they provided didn’t help me in the least on my purchase I made because of them. won’t go in depth but last email I received was they were no longer going to provide or cover warranty on a rifle I had cuz upper management decided they didn’t want to deal with all the rifles anymore they brought in cuz they weren’t going to carry them anymore split second decision and ghosted since then by them.

Thanks for all the help guys!
I will contact Blue line and see what the deal is. Might as well run to the hardware store and see what I can find too.
Cheers!

I want to say it is M4x0.7. The pitch gauge show it was a x0.7 TPI.. Threaded length was 12mm long, and 15mm OAL. I know the hardware store should have black metric cap head screws up to 20mm, at least here they do. I'm going to assume that the nut the same.. It's staked in preventing it from falling out.
