I see the Bushnell has come out with a new line of rifle scopes. One that caught my eye was the Prime 3-9x40mm with a duplex reticle and a illuminated centre dot that is adjustable for brightness or left off. Leupold calls theirs "firedot". I'm not asking for a comparison between the Bushnell and Leopold but looking for feedback on the illumination aspect. Especially for older eyes and people that wear glasses. Do you see a single point of light or a blurry star bust?

Depends if you have astigmatism or not.
Prime is made in China and pretty low grade scope.
I don't expect much from a scope the retails sub $300 in Canada but it would be a low cost try out. I was curious about the illuminated dot under low light field conditions with people that need corrective eye wear. Next time I'm out and about I will have to have a look.
