2 piece pistol mag durability?

I see too many of the pistol mags sold to Canadian shooters, are of the 2 piece design, to limit capacity .

How do they hold up to continual mag. drops when competing in IPDA and the like?

They do not hold up in my experience from IDPA competitions. The plastic pieces snapped off on a couple of the Sig 2 piece mags. I have since gone to all steel with rubber plated base pads.

I had trouble enough just finding Walther P 99 spare mags at all, let alone the one piece type.

Anyone know where they can be had?
