I finally have a 1911 on order. I was wondering who makes reliable flush mags and who sells them? I have seen Mecgar and Triple K on a dealers site.

Thanks

Mec Gar are oem mags for a number of manufacturers. I use them exclusively in my wild bunch 1911’s, and prefer them to the factory mags on my cz 75. Triple k I have found to be basically cheap crap

I have issues with certain loads and bullet profiles using Mec-Gar mags. The problem seems to be that the followers are designed to be ambidextrous and with nothing at the front helping guide the last bullet it causes almost 100% failures to feed. They are typically very good mags though and are likely fine for most guys' ammunition.

Can’t go wrong with Tripp Cobra and Wilson Combat. Actually my Wilson mags have an extension so will not work.

Then again since I shoot only 230 grain Round heads, even Norkie mags are totally reliable. So far.
