Hey all, would any of you fine folks have any suggestions for replacement sights for a 464? I can’t seem to find much online...

I could put a scope on it but I’d really like to upgrade the irons.

When I owned one I ordered a skinner low profile and the tallest front sight from skinner.
It made it a very accurate rig without adding weight and bulk.
Order a few diameters of apertures while you are at it.
You won't be disappointed with the skinner

I actually was looking at both the XS and the Skinner, not sure I like either one that much and they are both pretty expensive. I don’t think I like them anymore than the original irons. I guess I was wondering if there were any fiber optic options. Thanks for the suggestions though!

If you want a peep Skinner is da bomb IMO. I have a winged peep with Skinner blade ( white stripe) up front on my 45-70 and a Skinner low profile with Williams firedot front sight on my 336. When hunting thick stuff I run them as ghost sights but for target shooting I spin in the inserts. Great sights. Both front sights are amazing in dark timber and can be seen right up until last light. I had a lyman receiver sight ( adjustable type) on the 336 before but it's too fragile with too many moving parts for a rough use bush rifle. My 39A wears a lyman tang peep and factory front bead. Fantastically accurate with the longer sight radius but I wouldn't want it on a try bush hunting rig

I was wondering how the XS would perform in low light. I think this might be the way I will end up going. I’d like to be able to run a scope as well as irons but I’m not crazy about the rail that goes with the XS system. Call me cheap but I don’t want to spend that much on the XS or the Skinner. It’s too bad that tru-glo doesn’t make a set for the 464, I’m much rather pay $50-$60.
