Lol this^ vortex low power optics are Red dots, they are daytime bright and have the principals of a red dot.

I haven’t used one of these yet but my razor and my PTS Gen 2 are amazing. Also dot doesn’t change size when you up the magnification so it’s actually usesable at high power (looking at you nightforce!!!) lol.

I believe these 1-10x are ffp so the reticle does change size. They would've been great on the bcl102 match rifles that never came to be

That’s the point, I will happily stand corrected on this however the dot is a red dot projection (does not chance size with magnification) unlike the nightforce etched reticule that did and caused problems(hence they now released a sfp line of optics)... like I said I haven’t been hands on with one yet but in talking with vortex this was my understanding.
