Well some of us dont shoot precision . My range is only 200 m. I collect military style firearms. It is my choice what I collect and buy. I think the optic to shoot past 1000 m costs more than $1500. I guess I should just throw out my 1942 Inglis Bren on a MKI tripod cause I cant shoot it at all

I have to make it through the day without buying 2 of these damn things! (Ala. 2 is one. Very true). I'll have to sell my Mcr to do it, lol.

I've been $hit-talking these LMGS to myself all morning, telling myself that it's just a glorified sks and that I don't really NEED one. I came on to this thread looking to be strong...

I am a weak liar. I need this rifle. I neeeeeeed it.


2 rifles, 4 drum mags. I just need.... money. :).

That is how I stopped myself from buying the regular Type 81, said the same thing. Then I watched the priced of those climb and climb and by the time I talked myself into one, people were asking stupid money for them in the EE. Figured this will work just as well. Plan on taking this hunting just because I can and taking lots of pictures to piss off the Liberals and the Fudds.

Who cares what people spend their money on. Good for them if they want something different. Not everyone cares about groups shot from a bench or moa accuracy ...and I can definitely guarantee none of them care what you think of how they spend their money.

Hey its a capitalist society! I'd love to see a thread comparing guns to say shares of Microsoft or Tesla ha.

BTW I would not attempt to shoot anything moving with a T81 out past 100m. It's spray and pray and you'd be chasing down your wounded spoor for awhile. But pictures of it in action would be super rad and +1 on sticking it to the substitute teacher!

Just look at the Breda Garand. Last year they were about $1400-$1500. Now they are $2200

As for hunting, I've shot deer reliably with an SKS out to 200 yards. Granted most animals you can easily get within that. So no worries there
 
The only thing I had to be careful of when the Type 81 LMG was announced was tripping over my feet running for my wallet!

Bent barrels help with suppressing fire!

It's for the form factor for most people. Hell, a T97 is pushing
$1200. What's another few drops in the bucket for this. I think it's quite unique to our market.
 
im the opposite, like a robot, click link, too busy... delete page and start again. after a dozen times I'm in bit no rifles just accessories, add mags to cart, next... too busy, page back too busy... delete page.
 
There is lots of thin skin in this room.
I was just stating what I thought. I was just thinking out loud, trying to justify not buying one and I get 💩 on. 🤣

Didn’t some guy just set the record for a 2200+ yard shots with open sites yes he did shoot almost a Hundred rounds to get four hits on target but he did it without optics. Swiss army surplus rifle I believe he was shooting.
 
After what China did to all of us, I am surprised to see how eager is everyone to support the murderous commies with their dollars.
