I waited 2 years for my 81 to come in. 2 painful, lonely years. This was an exponentially better retail experience lol

You've done it, you mad lads actually pulled it off. Bought a spare mag and a drum. Hoping to pick up the LMG soon. Are there any plans to make kits convert standard T81's to LMG? Also are the drums blocked to 5 with a rivet or weld?

I just got off the phone with tactical imports and the gentleman said its manufactured with a block inside and is not reversible in the chance Canadian gun laws ever change.they have not had in hand yet so not a 100%

Dumb question but do these use the regular type 8q magazines. I wanted to add another one to my order but only those are on the site.

I think a Type 81 mag should be interchangable between the two versions. I hope so anyway since I snagged a couple more spares.

Looks like that's just the regular Type 81's

The drum mag is interchangeable so that is a good sign that the other mags are to.

Checked everywhere, trash, junk, spam, under the rug... no email from them at all. If it turns out this is all there is then I’ll be so pissed... enough to boycott future TI purchases... umm maybe.

I can finally turn my Toyota into a technical and make those logging road shoots more interesting I'll probably be in for the 2nd shipment if I can find some RPK mags and mod them haha

Look up the Type 81 rifle and just add a couple more inches to the barrel.

Let people ask what they want. Supply and demand.

“Price gouging” is a socialist ish term. Nobody is forcing you to buy one. It has nothing to do with “good” or “bad” people.

It’s a free market.
