Honestly, 1500 for a LMG setup is very reasonable. If HK made a LMG style 556 rife, I imagine it would be 5k+. If you dont like chinese rifles, dont buy them.

I would absolutely trust my life on my beater Type56, which has never actually failed me even though I dropped it out of a tree about three times, once down some stairs, and shot about two thousand rounds through.
If I had my pick, I'd probably go with something else but there's no reason to spit on a gun that could very well make a vietcong's ghost blush.
