Yes phosphate is going to produce a matte like finish and won't have the shine of a blued finish, and a darker deeper black.

It will offer better rust protection I hear.
 
Sorry if it's been covered by why is the phosphate the "limited" edition. It's a better finish than blued by a long shot especially for a military style gun. I had one in my cart trying to check out but the damn website wasn't working.

TI, when are these shipping?

I have my order confirmation email and a pending charge on my card, but the Order Status page on your site identifies that "no match found for your entry" regarding my order number - I'll send you an email separately if that's not a known issue.

Hey everyone just an update:
We started shipping Thursday -we have most staff dedicated to processing and shipping orders as we want to prioritize getting everyone's orders sent out. We are swamped as it is basically 2 months of orders and correspondence all at once. Our goal is to have everything sent out by the end of the month. We will update tracking in a few days as our first priority is getting things out the door.

We are working our way through voicemails and emails, which is also at unprecedented levels, over 100 voicemails just on Wednesday. Up to mid-day Thursday voicemails and emails Wednesday are done are are continuing to work through. Please refrain from sending multiple emails and leaving multiple voicemails on same topic, we will get to everything in order. Everything will get responded to eventually.

For those of us with orders that cannot be found by your website (check order status page) - do we need to be concerned?

I got high hopes for this, considering how much I love my Type81. My BRS99 order went through flawlessly too so I'm not worried.
