I read somewhere the russians used hex shot for clay games at the olympics and did quite well. Cant remember where or if theres even any truth to it however i havent personally pattern any blindside shot shells myself in any comparable form. If i can find some locally in 20ga or 10ga i may try them out
The velocity is tempting but honestly I gave up on gimmick shells years ago. Kent fast steel just plain works in my setup. Is it hype? How does it pattern at range?

I've used these shells with great success. They are now 32$ a box here and my go to is 25$ so I don't use them a lot, Think I got 2 boxes of blindside left.
Tried them, for the premium I'll step up to the heavier than steel options. I didn't find they patterned particularly well or killed any better than conventionally wadded spherical or in the case of Xpert roundish shot.
Blindside sucks! The hex shot pulls in a huge wad of feathers and gets stopped without achieving good penetration. Another overpriced gimmick like hevi-steel and black cloud. Melissa is going to endorse it good or bad. That's her job but a guy I know guides her and many other industry personalities here each fall and there is lots of phony promotion filming and made up scenes for the hunt shows and their sponsors takes place after the actual hunt is completed!! The only endorsement I trust is what my gun shows me on the pattern board and with real in the field results.
