Hey Guys,

Thought I would share my experience with you all as I bought two boxes of 6.5mm 140 grain Hornady ELD Match bullets (new and sealed from a gun store) a couple of weeks ago.

Both boxes came with only 88 rounds each. Lot number on both is #2201384.

I messaged Hornady customer service and I'm sure they will make it right (so far have been quick on responses), but thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

When I started seating bullets. I was doing 100 and ran out at 88. Internal bag and box were both sealed on both boxes.

Hornady got back to me today and said that they will ship me new boxes through distribution, so I am happy that they rectified it.

I'm wondering if when packaging the 140's the machines scales were still set for packaging the 123 gr.

88 x 140 = 12,320 About right weight for a box of 100 x 123 gr

If so , I wonder how many got shipped. lol

Where and when were these purchased?
I may have to start digging into my stash.
I'm currently working on moving my reloading room .
