Well the first year of real retirement for my father I bought him a Excaliber Bow this year the just enough package with a few extra arrows and off he went. He passed up about 20 deer so far with lots of storries, LOL! as most of you guys know when talking to your dads, but last night i got the call i was waiting for about 6 30 pm, he called and said he just stuck a nice big buck with a big body, however I am on a buisness trip my cousin went out to help, and at 9 pm they called and had a nice dressed approx 200 lbs 8 point hanging in the shed!
I will post pictures when i get them. I have not seen them as yet, but someone was pretty excited last night on the phone!
I laughed and said you bugger thats the deer i have been watching all year big wide 8 about 3 miles back, the rut has started guys!

He just needed you out of his hair so he could arrow one and make up a good story about it.....lol

Dad's are all the same that way.

Yes he was pretty excited, it went about 150 yards and it was lights out!
A bit far back on th entry but it caught the rigth spots on the way out.

major blood trail i was told!!!!

Dam i wish i was there, his first one with a bow!
