DEWAT Firearms Thread

That article is over 4 years old. There was a new directive but I don't think it went as far as that.

I know that is old but the world is moving in the direction of disarming their civilian population, I wonder why? The truth is that deactivated guns can be reactivated again if the need arises, the paperwork (something that the Gov. loves to have) is missing, there is no license required to buy them. In short, they don't know who to chase or harass, and that makes them jittery. The deactivation rules have been changing in a way to be harder and harder to reactivate them. In the past, the deactivation process consisted of a just few welds and pins. I am not supporting the reactivation of such guns. Just wondering what is behind tightening the rules since there is no database of crimes committed with activated Dewat guns...

Do those Marstar AK's still have all the parts physically present? I've heard they come with no disconnector, sear, bolt, etc....

I've seen one a few years ago - everything is present - just welded together. Top dust cover can be taken off. Magazine can be removed but magazine lips where shaved off.

I am thinking of buying a PPS43, at 399 can't go wrong, will sit nicely in my mancave...
