The Glock 45 has an OEM 102mm barrel, making it a stupid Liberal class prohibited auto. Its a 9mm.
When the good people @ US Glock in Smyrna, Georgia decide to accomodate the northern rabble, they will add a 106mm barrel.
Its not like they haven't done it before, when they're ready they will. Have faith in Glock. They listen. (Unlike the rubes @ Kimber who adamantly refuse to add a 152mm or a 106mm barrel to their K6S revolver. Wake up fools!)

There are already threaded barrel variants that are available through Lipsey's and they would certainly meet the 106 mm requirement.
Seems there has been a run on them all over the US right now and most of the distributors are out of stock, the next number of months are going to be interesting in supply, and who has what, and more importantly how long we are going to have to wait to see anything up here.

I like the new G45 but even if Glock puts a 106mm barrel in it, the tried & true G17gen5 still beats it.
Why do you say that?
g45 is a g17 frame with a shorter barrel what not like ...
I agree. The 19 is too short for my big mitts but the short sight radius makes fast shots at close range a breeze. The 45 is the best of both worlds for me.

legally a few of us purchased one in the states and got it imported here.
even irg had some in their shop in canada.
if you want one and do not want to wait and one is available in the states you know what to do ... we ve been waiting for over years now for it but i do know if the importer is willing to take the gamble with the fear of having handguns staying here in the depot with the wrong barrel lenght.
my agency is evaluating the g45 but not the civilian barrel lenght ...

was not to be there 2 years ago lol ... i m glad i got mine when they were available in the usa.
