Which case tumbler

Another vote for the Lyman with auto flow. You will still have some media in the cases, but after I drain, I take the lid off, turn the tumbler back on and use my hand to help turn the cases, to get the rest of the media out of 'em.
 
I use a Lyman,and like some others buy walnut shells from Acklands.I use Nu Finish car wax in the media .Cases come out clean and shiney

With my RCBS Sidewinder, in addition to the Formula 1 Walnut Shell Media, I got a packet of polish material and the two together seem to work really well. Curious though, when you add the Nu Finish car wax, how much do you add in and to roughly what quantity of Walnut shell?
Another question, for the odd case that has say finger prints or something similar that won't polish out. Brasso didn't have much effect so I was wondering, is there anything quick & simple that that can be used to clean the individual case by hand? I mean if the batch of brass is all in this shape there is the Sidewinder Liquid Media Case Cleaner I could use instead of the walnut shell.
 
I have 2.

The first one is a Lyman Turbo 1200, and is 25 years old and still going strong.

The second one is a Lyman Turbo 2500 which I bought for the capacity.

I use a 50/50 mix of Lyman Treated Corncob and corn blast.
 
Your almost there with the sidewinder and liquid media. There are cheaper alternatives I have seen such as the Thumlers tumbler or you can just build your own like I did. Essentially all you need it two parallel spinning shafts to spin a container with. Then get yourself some ceramic media which as far as I know should last a lifetime. Forget wasting money on the RCBS case cleaners and the Birchwood Casey etc I have tried then and they don't work as good as lemon juice and dish soap topped up with water. I use about 1/4c lemon juice a squirt of dish soap (I use Palmolive with OXI). The brass comes out looking better than new inside and out. There are different ceramic media you can get. If your going to do bottle neck cases you'll want the small spherical kind as the sticks will get stuck. Rinse off and if you have hard water I'd recommend placing on an old towel or rag to avoid spots.
 
Lyman Turbo Tumbler 1200 with Auto Flow, with Lyman Treated Corncob... I've run mine non-stop for years. In fact, I can hear the hum of it right now working some .45s we shot this weekend.
