Hi all,

I have a really nice condition Parker Hale/Lee enfield .303 thay has been soorterized that I am hoping to get some information and value on. I have had the rifle about 15 years. Good shape. Has some milsurp markings on it, obviously. What are the value of these? I may move this out to create room. Any input appreciated

Parker Hale No1 Custom, it’s the highest grade of sporters they made.
Fine rifles.
In this condition with finish loss 300-350

Someone once said, every Canadian household should own a Lee Enfield.

I reacted well to the colour of the stock wood and the handier shape of the butt, but not to what looks like varnish on the metal. Those are decisions for the buyer.

They are great rifles. I wouldn't sell mine, but I do need to scope it because my eyes aren't what they used to be. I'll have to find a scope mount for it now.

Sometimes you will see these with a barrel completely round at the breech - no Nock's Form flat on top. New commercial barrels.

Sweet looking rifle. Find the Parker Hale scope mount and rings. they are around. Connect with folks in the UK ebay crowd as well as the Auzzie's.

You need the Parker Hale BS-27 scope mount and base.

To add Parker Hale selected only the best Lee Enfields to use. Bores had to be pristine, No pitting anywhere on the actions or bolt etc. The hardest part to get currently is a Parker Hale front sight hood. It's round and tips backwards, if you have it, you've got gold...

That is not varnish, hi polished and reblued They are a fine gun, no collector value left , 300.oo

I’ve always thought the Churchill rebuilt No4’s were of better quality.... new 5 groove barrel, polished receivers and barrels and a new stock , probably one of the nicest in the industry!
Just my 2 cents..
Cheers

I have one with a fixed optic scope she has quite a few handling things on the stock it's done by The Churchill company AKA Parker Hale it's pretty good number for Mark one rear sight is removed sadly though

Churchill sporters were made by Churchill, not Parker Hale. Some of them had similar stock sets to the Parker Hales, but that is because the stocks were supplied by Siles in Italy. Same can be said for Cogswell and Harrison sporters, Golden State Arms sporters, etc.
