Cooey model 64 conversion kits!
I have a model Cooey model 64 with a busted plastic clip! Iwas told the plastic clip was only produced for a couple of years and the metal clips do not work in that model! I was told there was a conversion kit available does anyone have knowledge of this!

Yes there are conversion kits. Western Gun Parts in Edmonton used to carry them [ not sure of availability] Cheers

My advice would be to buy a different 22

The metal magazines wear out faster then any other magazine Ive ever used. Ive seen several fail with less then 1000 rounds through them. Just cheap crap.

bought my model 64 when I was fourteen in the late 70's. still going strong with the original magazine.

I did this conversion earlier this year. Works great! It allows your Cooey to use the Savage 64B magazines.

I called Savage in Lakefield Ontario and they suggested Western Gun Parts. I called WGP directly (not much of an online store) and ordered the parts.

I follow this guys videos (The Canada Code) on Youtube. There are 5 videos...great instruction!

that very well could be. Mine are 40+ years old. lol
Mine is an actual cooey..not a lakefield mossberg, winchester or whomever else produced them.
