Is some one still manufactures .22 WMR semi-automatic rifles? Most of well known manufacturers offer only bolt-action. Any ideas?

Marlin, Remington, Ruger, Brno have made them recently. Don't know offhand who is currently manufacturing what. There is a really nice Brno at a local store.

Marlin, Ruger don't make them anymore, Remington 22 wmr is not available in semi-auto, brno? will check this one, and where is that local store is?

and yeah, BRNO does only bolt action, not SEMI-AUTO

If you say so.

But they did make one until relatively recently. All blued steel and walnut, two piece stock, reminiscent of the classic .22 sporters. They were not inexpensive, more expensive than a Marlin 422 for example. The one for sale here is in rather nice shape.

I remember first seeing one of the semi .22 Mags at a trade show over 15 years ago. This was when the model was first being introduced. I do not know how long they remained in production.

Actually yr right, Remington still does it, 597 Magnum semi-auto $500, I'll skip this one :jerkit:

AMT Hunter, BRNO ZKM-611 and 611A (already mentioned), Ruger .22 mag version of the 10/22, CZ Model 611, Marlin 922M, Rem Model 597 Mag (already mentioned), etc...

Don't know how accurate the information is, but I was told the 10/22 Magnum was discontinued because of problems with the bolts cracking. Anyone here have problems with theirs?

.22WMR has quite a bit more punch than .22LR in a simple blowback design. The recoil springs have to be stiffer, the bolts significantly heavier.
